It is used as modifying agent of quality, regulator of PH value, chelate agent, binder and swelling agent in food industry. It could be used to stabilize the natural pigment in beans, fruit vegetables cans and sweetened bean paste to protect the food’s color. It is also used as emulsifier in canned meat and as water softener. |
